Bobcat/Posi-Track (Skid Steer)

For Bobcat/Posi-Track Training we offer the choice of four (4) courses tailored to suit individual needs.

The amount of formal training and workplace experience a trainee will need will depend on:

  • existing skills and abilities of the trainee;

  • trainee’s experience in similar types of work, for example a person with a licence for the use or operation of similar equipment and experience using the licence will be unlikely to require as much training as a trainee that is new to industry; and

  • Trainee’s aptitude for operating the plant and equipment, which could be different depending on factors such as age and length of time in industry.

This course is designed to cater for the trainee who has had considerable documented experience operating Loadshifting equipment but cannot meet the RPL criteria.

Day 1

8am to 5.30 pm

Day 2

as required

 

For the trainee who has operated equipment previously but cannot provide evidence to substantiate their claims.

 

Day 1.

8am to 4.30 pm

Day 2.

7.30 am to5.00 pm

 

A three to five day course for persons with little or no operating experience.

 

Day 1

8am to 4.30 pm

 

Other days

7.30 am to 5.00 pm

 

For the trainee who will be undertaking formal RTO training and then return to their own workplace for practical training using a logbook with a training plan to document that informal training.
